-Our shop is the culmination of a long, exhaustive thought process

Having commissioned Mr. Taku Satoh (Taku Satoh Design Office) to produce the graphic design of our logo and Mr. Ryu Kosaka (A.N.D.) for our shop’s interior design, we spent a considerable amount of time preparing for the realisation of this shop, engaging in an exhaustive process to identify the positioning of ‘coffee’ and what the essence of TORIBA COFFEE will be for the future.

-We feature six signature coffees

To provide a variety of coffees to be enjoyed in different situations, we feature a selection of five blends plus Hawaiian Kona coffee which comes from our own coffee plantation. Besides this, we also endeavour to source other delicious coffees and rare specialities to be offered in our shop.

-What delights await you in our shop

Our shop’s six signature coffee beans are available for purchase by weight. In addition, we have created a dedicated space for coffee tasting as well as buying the coffee beans.
In the shop designed with the concept of a delightful coffee lifestyle, we offer from casual everyday drinking coffees to gifts for your precious ones, and a range of beautiful coffee paraphernalia to bring more delight to one’s coffee life as well as message cards to accompany the gifts.

-Freshly roasted coffees come from the second floor

On the second floor, we have installed three roasters and the coffee beans from around the world are roasted to their optimal profiles, then delivered to the ground floor. Therefore, they are always fresh. For online shopping, we send our coffees directly to our customers from this floor.

-The third floor goes even deeper

On the third floor, we have set up a state-of-the-art espresso machine (LA CIMBALI M100) and a lab to experiment with brewing coffees in multiple ways. We also organise coffee study sessions on an occasional basis.

-Coffee beans also prefer a comfortable environment

In the basement, we also have a warehouse to ensure that our raw coffee beans are stored in the best possible conditions.
We have created a shop that fully demonstrates what TORIBA COFFEE can do at this moment in time.

CONCEPT

Coffee more delicious than that of cafés or coffeeshops

TORIBA COFFEE is not a café, nor a coffeeshop. A delicious cup of coffee is not just for cafés or coffeeshops. The truth is that it can be made easily in your own home. With a bit of time and personal touches, for instance, preheating the cup and adjusting the water temperature slightly, you can brew a cup of coffee tastier than that of authentic coffeeshops. TORIBA COFFEE aims to roast our beans to ensure that every cup of coffee tastes exquisite no matter who brews it or how it is made. Furthermore, we are here to assist you with making the coffee taste even more delicious.

-What truly matters to us

It may seem difficult to try something different or change the brewing method for your daily coffee. However, we believe a cup of coffee that your loved one makes for you or a coffee whilst having a fantastic time can bring you greater joy. We roast our coffees hoping that our TORIBA COFFEE will be the one for such occasions. Even though our coffee may not be the star of the show, we would be delighted if our coffee can complement your happy moments.

TORIBA COFFEE provides a consultation service for those who wish to open a coffeeshop or who are not entirely content with their existing coffee by assisting with concept design, visualisation of the shop and creation of an original coffee. We hope to work alongside you as a partner and a supporter on your successful shop development or new coffee that will be appreciated by your customers.
